At least two dead, 14 wounded in Florida nightclub shooting: media
[WASHINGTON] At least two people are dead and 14 others wounded in a shooting overnight at a nightclub in Florida, US broadcaster NBC reported Monday.
Police said the incident occurred at the Club Blu in Fort Myers, local NBC affiliate WBBH reported.
Local TV stations reported that the club had been hosting a teen party at the time. At least one person had been detained.
Fort Myers police could not be reached immediately for comment.
The shooting comes the month after a massacre at a nightclub in the Florida city of Orlando, in which a lone gunman killed 49 people in the deadliest mass shooting in US history.
