August's NODX flat; market expected worse (Amended)
Whether it will pick up from here is unknown, given prevailing headwinds; month-on-month, it still dipped

AUGUST provided some relief to Singapore's non-oil domestic exports (NODX), which emerged flat after two straight months of year-on-year decline.
NODX shipments had tumbled 10.6 per cent in July and 2.4 per cent the month before that.
August's NODX, though flat, was also better than expected; the market had projected it to drop 4.0 per cent.
