THE Building and Construction Authority (BCA) on Wednesday unveiled the world's first high-rise rotatable laboratory for the tropics, and also announced the expansion of its scheme for benchmarking the environmental sustainability of new non-residential buildings.
The BCA SkyLab, which sits on a rotatable platform atop a new building at the BCA Academy in Braddell Road, enables tests and research into green building technology to be carried out at any orientation to the sun and wind.
