BRITONS will be making the most significant voting decision of their lives during the coming "in" or "out" of the European Union (EU) referendum on June 23. Their vote is vital not only for the UK, but also for other nations in the EU which desperately want and need the UK to remain a significant member.

Latest polls show that the gap between those who favour staying in the EU and those who wish to exit (Brexit) are only one point apart. A quarter of voters, however, are undecided. Sterling rallied slightly against the US dollar, euro and yen and the stock market has recovered by 5 per cent from its recent lows, but the UK enters a period of uncertainty in the coming four months prior to the referendum, even though the bookies are betting that the nation will vote "in".
