CAR sales continued to rev up retail sales in November, single-handedly pulling up the overall index in year-on-year terms.
Thanks to a massive 59.7 per cent jump in motor vehicle sales, retail sales grew 4.7 per cent, according to data released by the Department of Statistics on Friday. But excluding cars, retail sales would have actually fallen 2 per cent.
