SINGAPORE Democratic Party's (SDP) Chee Soon Juan broadly outlined plans for running Bukit Batok's town council as the first SDP rally of the Bukit Batok by-election kicked off on Friday night.
Aside from working to ensure that the town-council operations are handed over seamlessly if the SDP wins, the party aims to set new standards for transparency and accountability in town-council governance while keeping conservancy charges to a minimum.
