CHINA may set a target range rather than a specific figure for projected economic growth at the National People's Congress (NPC) in March, the Institute of International Finance (IIF) said in a report on Wednesday.
But the Washington-based body, which put out the report following meetings in Beijing with policy-makers, economists and analysts, said that despite a possible move toward more flexible targeting, "Chinese policy-makers still seem fixated on maintaining a high-growth regime".
