China-Singapore project making progress
BILATERAL project Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City said it has broken ground for a neighbourhood centre development and launched a platform for businesses and start-ups.
The groundbreaking ceremony was conducted on Thursday for the first of five neighbourhood centres. This centre is expected to be completed in end-2018, with an investment of 230 million yuan (S$47 million).
Residents will be able to enjoy government and commercial services at the centre. Plans are also underway to build a library, small theatre, multi-function hall and cultural activity centre.
Meanwhile, the Ascendas-Singbridge International Launch Pad was initiated at the Ascendas OneHub GKC development.
This initiative comprises a business lounge, an innovation centre, and a collaboration centre that provides business services.
