Civil servants to get half-month mid-year bonus
Nearly 1,500 lower-wage officers will also get a built-in wage increase of up to S$20 a month

CIVIL servants in Singapore will receive a mid-year bonus of half a month's salary in July, a tad more than the 0.45-month they got last year.
Also, lower-wage officers will get a built-in wage increase of up to S$20 in their monthly salary, over and above their annual increment in 2017.
Announcing this on Thursday, the Public Service Division (PSD) said the decision on the mid-year payments was made after "close consultation" with the public-sector unions.
