External woes drive inflation expectations to new low in December: survey
Households expect headline and core inflation in the year ahead to fall to 2.74% and 2.85% respectively

MULTIPLE challenges seen in the global economy are driving Singaporean households' expectations of price increases to their lowest levels ever, a survey has found.
The median expectation for inflation, in the fourth quarter of 2015 for the one year ahead, was 2.74 per cent, significantly lower than the 2.92 per cent seen in the third quarter of 2015.
