New Swiss law to target graft in world sporting bodies
It will allow prosecutors to launch corruption probes against Fifa, IOC and others

WITH the scandal at football's governing body raging, the upper house of Switzerland's Parliament voted through a bill on Wednesday dubbed "Lex FIFA", aimed at cracking down on corruption inside international organisations.
The bill, which was put forward last year and still must pass in the lower house of Parliament, was voted through the Senate just a day after Fifa president Sepp Blatter, arguably the most powerful man in world sport, announced his resignation amid a corruption scandal.
