Flash: Singapore's total employment up 0.9% in 2015, slowest annual growth since 2003

AMID sluggish global economic conditions, slower growth in Singapore and tightened supply of foreign manpower, total employment grew 0.9 per cent last year, the lowest year-on-year growth since 2003.
The annual average unemployment rate in 2015 was broadly unchanged since 2011 at 1.9 per cent for overall, 2.8 per cent for residents and 2.9 per cent for citizens.
