Founders' Memorial committee meets to work out action plan
Website to be launched soon - to let the public contribute views on memorial dedicated to founding generation

A 15-member committee, established for a Founders' Memorial, met for the first time on Tuesday to create and conceptualise its plan for a memorial dedicated to Singapore's founding generation.
Lee Tzu Yang, chairman of the committee, said: "Today we did not talk about people, we talked about what values we think would exemplify our coming of age as a country.
"The passing of Mr Lee Kuan Yew stirred a certain interest in that period of our history and people who lived and worked then. I think this is an opportunity for us, now, to explore the ideals and values of our founding generation of leaders.
