GE2015: PAP retains Nee Soon GRC

[SINGAPORE] The People's Action Party (PAP) retained the Nee Soon group representation constituency (GRC) by polling 66.83 per cent of the total valid votes. The Workers' Party (WP) managed 33.17 per cent of the votes.
In total PAP polled 82,197 votes to WP's 40,796 votes.
The PAP team comprised: K Shanmugan, Henry Kwek, Lee Bee Wah, Louis Ng and Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim.
The WP team for the GRC was Kenneth Foo, Cheryl Denise Loh, Gurmit Singh, Luke Koh and Ron Tan.
In 2011, Mr Shanmugan led the PAP team to victory in the GRC with 58.4 per cent of the votes, defeating the WP team which garnered 41.6 per cent of the votes.
