Germany warns against easy-money policies

Finance minister's comments come on eve of G-20 meeting, setting the stage for a potential confrontation with Tokyo

"The road of too-easy money finally leads to misfortune. We have to get more stability back into the financial markets," said Mr Schaeuble.


GERMANY'S Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble has warned of the dangers of an excessively easy monetary policy, and urged countries not to use foreign-exchange rates as an instrument to create growth.
