Highest honours for Nathan at Parliament House

The Singapore flag will be draped over the casket, and vigil guards will be mounted during the lying-in-state period

THE public will have until 10pm on Thursday to pay their last respects to the late former president SR Nathan at Parliament House, two hours more than previously announced.

The state funeral organising committee said in a statement that visitors may start streaming in for the lying-in-state from 10am. They should enter the Padang via St Andrew's Road from City Hall MRT station.
