Household income gains ground in 2014 amid low inflation

Median household income in Singapore rose at a much faster pace last year compared to 2013, said a Department of Statistics report on Monday.
And the lift in income - especially after accounting for inflation - could be sustained this year given the negligible price increases, and as Singapore's labour market stays tight, economists noted.
