EVEN as the regional economy of Latin America and the Carribean is projected to contract this year, there is value in Singapore forging stronger ties with the region.
It was with this in mind that International Enterprise (IE) Singapore inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with CAF, the Development Bank of Latin America; IE Singapore chief executive Teo Eng Cheong and CAF president and CEO Enrique Garcia signed the document at the 11th edition of the Latin Asia Business (LAB) Forum held at the Shangri-La Hotel on Friday.
