IMF signals strong growth prospects for Asia but warns of challenges

"Many Asian countries face the policy challenge of sustaining and accelerating inclusive growth at a time of lower commodity prices. This will require further economic diversification," said Mr Furusawa.


ASIA'S economic outlook "remains the strongest in the world", International Monetary Fund (IMF) deputy managing director Mitsuhiro Furusawa said in Jakarta on Wednesday ahead of the scheduled release in Kuala Lumpur later this month of the IMF's latest World Economic Outlook update
