Indonesian police arrest six Batam militants, including leader who planned to attack Singapore

[JAKARTA] Singapore's home affairs ministry on Friday said it was aware of the plans made by six suspected Indonesian militants who had plotted to launch a rocket from Batam to Marina Bay, adding that the police and other agencies have stepped up inland and border security measures.
Indonesian police arrested the six suspected militants in Batam, including the group's leader who police said had been plotting the launch.
