Indonesia's annual inflation gains pace in April

Mr Brodjonegoro said Indonesia is introducing a tax amnesty this month to boost revenues as slowing economic growth puts pressure on the government to increase spending.


INDONESIA'S inflation accelerated at a faster pace in April which might lead the central bank to keep its benchmark interest rate unchanged this month as the country's economic growth forecast slowed in the first quarter amid weakening rupiah.
