Indonesia's central bank says Nov annual inflation may fall below 5%
[JAKARTA] Indonesia's annual inflation could fall below 5 per cent from November due to changes in base comparison, Indonesia's central bank said.
Bank Indonesia's Deputy Governor Perry Warjiyo also said annual inflation by year-end could be below an earlier outlook of 3.6 per cent.
In November last year, President Joko Widodo raised fuel prices, pushing the inflation rate to 8.36 per cent in December. Rising prices in November and December last year pushed up the base comparison for this year's prices.
