Invest in Asian frontier markets, says IIF
It singles out six economies - Bangladesh, Mongolia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Vietnam - citing China's support and higher growth than emerging markets

AS monetary policy normalises in the United States and liquidity continues to desert emerging markets and flow back to the US, Japan or Europe, a report published by the Washington-based Institute of International Finance (IIF) at the end of last week suggests that stock and bond market investors might be well advised to shift funds into Asian "frontier" markets.
"Asian frontier markets should continue to outperform Asian emerging markets and other frontier regions," says the IIF report, while noting that many of these developing countries are moving increasingly into China's sphere of political and economic influence.
