Investors from Japan may plough US$300b into Treasuries

With the Fed poised to raise interest rates, US Treasuries offer the most attractive yields

For yen-based investors, the US currency's appreciation boosted returns on Treasuries to 17 per cent over the past six months, the most among 26 bond markets tracked by Bloomberg and the European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies.
