THE publishing permits of The Edge Weekly and The Edge Financial Daily have been suspended for three months by Malaysia's Home Ministry. But the group - owned by tycoon Tong Kooi Ong - seems to have anticipated the suspensions, effective July 27, as it has urged subscribers and followers to take to its four digital platforms to keep abreast of news and developments.
Barred from leaving the country, Mr Tong said on Friday that he had helped obtain from a key informant the data on which the Edge had based its reports.
