Malaysia Feb factory output growth seen picking up to 4% y-o-y: poll
[KUALA LUMPUR] Malaysia's February industrial production is expected to have grown 4 per cent from a year earlier, picking up from the previous month's pace, a Reuters poll showed.
Factory output in January surpassed market expectations at 3.2 per cent year-on-year, due to growth in manufacturing, mining and electricity sectors.
Malaysia's exports in February also grew faster than expected at 6.7 per cent from a year earlier, on stronger palm oil demand and shipments of electronic products to the United States.
