More going through mediation to resolve disputes

MORE businesses have turned to the Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC) for a cost-effective form of dispute resolution, with more than 300 commercial disputes handled last year.

In all, SMC handled 337 mediation matters last year, the highest since its inception in 1997.
