Najib acknowledges 'confidence deficit' in his government
He blames social media, urges civil servants to provide better service to regain public confidence
Kuala Lumpur
AMID a weakening economy and deteriorating socio-political environment, Malaysia's Prime Minister Najib Razak has acknowledged a "confidence deficit" in his administration, which he attributed to negative perceptions wrought by social media.
Mr Najib, who had earlier maintained that his Cabinet reshuffle was popular with Malaysians, urged civil servants to provide better service to regain public confidence.
