THE progress of a society should not be measured by just its wealth, but also by how it helps its less fortunate members, President Tony Tan Keng Yam said on Wednesday.
Dr Tan was the guest of honour at the official launch of the Singapore Centre for Social Enterprise - stylised as raiSE for short - an agency aimed at supporting and developing local social enterprises (SEs).
