New Zealand food prices rise in March

[WELLINGTON] New Zealand food prices rose 0.5 per cent in March, data from Statistics New Zealand showed on Wednesday, while the index edged down 0.1 per cent from the same month last year.
Food prices make up nearly 19 per cent of the consumer price index.
