NTUC vice-president to leave labour movement on July 31

NATIONAL Trades Union Congress (NTUC) vice-president Edwin Lye will leave the labour movement on July 31, 2016, NTUC said in a statement on Friday.
Mr Lye is also the general secretary of the Singapore Teachers' Union, and has been a unionist for more than 20 years.
He will take up a new role at the Singapore National Employers Federation from Aug 1, 2016.
