PM hopes for faster S'pore-Korea FTA review
Mr Lee says there are many issues on the table related to the free trade pact

THE ongoing review of the free trade agreement (FTA) between Singapore and South Korea has not made much progress in the past year, and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong hopes that things can move faster in the coming months.
Both countries are due to celebrate 40 years of diplomatic relations in 2015, with Singapore President Tony Tan Keng Yam scheduled to make a state visit to Korea as part of the landmark celebrations.
Speaking to Singapore reporters in Busan on Friday at the end of a summit marking 25 years of relations between Asean and Korea, Mr Lee said that it would be ideal to speed up the FTA review in order to have some "substantive content" for Dr Tan's visi…
