PRIME Minister Lee Hsien Loong spent Thursday, the third and final day of his stay in Moscow, meeting his Russian counterpart, Dmitry Medvedev. This was the pair's second meeting in the space of six months, having met on the sidelines of the East Asian Summit in Kuala Lumpur last November.
In his remarks at this latest meeting in the Russian capital, Mr Lee said that Singapore has "long-standing and deep relations" with Russia. It was 50 years ago in April 1966 when the two countries signed a trade agreement, with diplomatic relations established two years later.
