AT an annual gathering of Singapore's fund management industry, scepticism reigned over the ability of financial technology, or fintech, to disrupt the asset management and advisory space.
Most young people likely to use technology have too little disposable income and are too busy paying off mortgages, said Rennie Miller, executive chairman of digital investment services firm Parmenion Capital, which is owned by Aberdeen Asset Management.
