S$66 million boost for age-friendly moves
Enhanced WorkPro schemes will be spread over 3 years starting from July as re-employment age rises to 67
Singapore
EMPLOYERS will be given more money to help put in place age-friendly practices to make work easier, safer and smarter for older workers as the government moves to raise the re-employment age from 65 to 67.
At the same time, the cap on the S$10,000 lump sum given under the tripartite guidelines - to tide over older workers not offered re-employment while they seek another job - is being raised to S$13,000.
