2015 Singapore Budget statement to be delivered on Feb 23

THE 2015 Singapore Budget statement will be delivered on Feb 23 by Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam.

There will be a live television and radio coverage of the Budget statement.

A live webcast of the delivery will also be available on the Singapore Budget website. The statement will also be uploaded on the website after the speech has been delivered.

The public can also access information on the Budget via the "Budget 2015" mobile app, which is already available for download on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.

The app will feature live streaming of the Budget speech as it is being delivered on Feb 23, and provide access to press releases and real-time announcements, video clips, a Budget quiz, and an email subscription for the full Budget Statement.

Those who wish to receive the Budget statement via email after it has been delivered can subscribe to the Budget statement mailing list on the Singapore Budget website as well. The service is available for subscription from Jan 23-Feb 21.

They can also follow the Ministry of Finance Facebook (www.facebook.com/mofsg) and Twitter (www.twitter.com/mofsg) accounts to get updates on the Budget announcements.

The public is invited to continue sending in their views and suggestions on issues relevant to Budget 2015. The feedback exercise will close on Jan 29.
