Singapore business delegations in Europe to explore opportunities

THE Singapore Business Federation (SBF) and International Enterprise (IE) Singapore are leading a total of three business delegations to Europe, in conjunction with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong's official visits to Germany and Spain that start on Monday.
The SBF mission, led by the federation's chief executive officer Ho Meng Kit, is made up of 26 business leaders from a range of industries such as banking and financial services, commodities trading, digital media and energy.
In a statement, the SBF - Singapore's apex business chamber - said it hoped the trip would enable the participants to better understand the market dynamics and opportunities in both countries, against the backdrop of the European Union-Singapore FTA that is expected to come into force so…
