Singapore Land Authority gets new deputy chairman and board members

YEOH Oon Jin has been appointed deputy chairman of the Singapore Land Authority (SLA) board for a two-year term with effect from Aug 1 this year, the Ministry of Law (MinLaw) announced on Monday.
Mr Yeoh is currently executive chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers Singapore, and has been a member of the SLA board since Aug 1, 2016.
Two new members, Loh Lik Peng (founder of hotel and restaurant brand Unlisted Collection) and Margaret Goh (former group managing director of GuocoLand), have been appointed to the SLA board for a term of two years starting on Aug 1.
Six members will be re-appointed for a term of two years commencing on the same date. They are Walter Fernandez (editor-in-chief of MediaCorp), Lai Huen Poh (managing director of RSP Architects Planners & Engineers), Han Kok Juan (deputy secretary of the Ministry of Law), Philip Yuen (chief executive officer of Deloitte Singapore), Mok Wei Wei (managing director of W Architects) and Chong Yoke Sin (chief of enterprise business group at StarHub).
Tham Kui Seng, a non-executive director of Straits Trading Company, will complete his current term of office on July 31, 2017, said MinLaw.
Five members of the SLA board will continue to serve on the board. They are Lim Sim Seng (who is chairman of the SLA board, and group executive and Singapore country head at DBS Bank), Tan Boon Khai (chief executive officer of SLA), Ho Chee Pong (director-general of Singapore Customs), Lock Yin Mei (partner at Allen & Overy LLP) and Ang Cheng Hock (senior counsel and partner at Allen & Gledhill).
