Singapore top destination for expansion among Chinese firms: survey
SINGAPORE remains attractive to Chinese businesses as an expansion destination, according to a UOB survey released on Wednesday.
The survey, first done in 2014, tracks the views from 2,500 Asian mid-cap businesses. Of these, 1,000 are from China. The remaining comes from Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
The Asian companies are drawn to Singapore's stable political and economic climate, large and growing customer demand, and its favourable tax and regulatory environment, the survey showed.
