South Korea trade minister sees export growth topping 2% in 2017
[SEOUL] South Korea's trade minister Joo Hyung-hwan said on Monday he sees exports rising more than 2 per cent in 2017, and are expected to post their first quarterly rise in two years in the October-December period.
Exports in South Korea have fallen for nearly all of the past two years since they started declining in January 2015. They rose 2.5 per cent in November in annual terms.
Joo was speaking at a lunch meeting with reporters.
