S'pore-Chongqing connectivity project making speedy progress: Chun Sing
Chongqing, China
LESS than 10 months after its launch, the third bilateral project between Singapore and China has sealed cross-border renminbi financing deals worth more than US$6 billion - and counting.
These are mainly bond issuances and loans, said Minister in the Prime Minister's Office Chan Chun Sing on Thursday. He added that being able to hit this amount in a relatively short time bodes well for the long-term future of the Chongqing Connectivity Initiative (CCI).
