S'pore, Chongqing firms look to US$1.6b deals

They sign pacts on new collaborations among financial institutions, with DBS inking three strategic partnerships

TRANSACTIONS valued at more than US$1.6 billion are expected to come to fruition through 28 agreements signed on Friday between Singapore and Chongqing financial institutions at a financial conference in the major Chinese city.

These agreements include new collaborations among financial institutions, as well as specific financing deals in bond issuances and cross-border loans.
