A SURGE in Singapore's electronics output in June was not enough to convince economists of a manufacturing recovery.
Instead, pervasive weakness shown in the June data, together with the looming threat of the United Kingdom's vote to leave the European Union, an outcome termed as "Brexit", weighed on economists.
