Thailand "highly likely" to decide to join TPP: deputy prime minister

[TOKYO] Thailand is "highly likely" to decide to join the Trans-Pacific Partnership free trade deal (TPP), Thai deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak said on Friday.
"Thailand is highly interested in joining TPP ...," he told a news conference in Tokyo through an interpreter.
"Chances are high that Thailand will seek to join TPP." The trade agreement currently has 12 members.
