PRIVATE consumption in Thailand stalled in November, the latest sign that the economy is still sputtering and putting more pressure on the military government to ramp up infrastructure spending to spur growth.
The army seized power in May to end months of political turmoil and put South-east Asia's second-largest economy back on track, but progress has been patchy at best in the face of weak exports and sluggish domestic demand.
