THAILAND'S military government on Tuesday approved a new round of economic measures worth 206 billion baht (S$8.1 billion) to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs), as the ruling junta seeks to revive flagging economic growth.

The military seized power in May 2014 to end months of political unrest but has struggled to revive South-east Asia's second largest economy, with exports and domestic demand stubbornly sluggish.
