Three designers and 13 designs receive President's Design Award 2015

SELECTED members of the design industry received the nod of excellence from President Tony Tan Keng Yam at this year's President's Design Award.

Among them include landscape architects Colin K Okashimo and Franklin Po, and architect Siew Man Kok. The three are this year's recipients of the Designer of the Year award.

The National Gallery Singapore, the Caterpillar's Cover Child Development and Study Centre, and Prologue furniture collection are among the 13 projects that have been awarded Design of the Year.

The President's Design Award, now in its 10th year, is the nation's most prestigious recognition of excellence across all design disciplines.

The recipients received their awards from President Tan at an award ceremony at the Istana.
