Trump's $250b in China deals feature little of substance

THE headline number is impressive: A quarter-trillion dollars in deals from China that President Donald Trump can use to show that he is creating opportunities for US businesses and jobs for his base.
The reality: The roughly 15 agreements unveiled on Thursday are mostly non-binding memoranda of understanding (MOUs) and could take years to materialise - if they do at all.
