[ANKARA] Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday that Turkey was "swiftly" heading towards early elections, after efforts to form a coalition government failed.
"We are once again swiftly heading towards an election," Mr Erdogan said in a televised speech in Ankara, adding that the only solution in the current political impasse was turning to the "will of nation".
