US job openings rose in june to 5.62 million, hiring climbed

[WASHINGTON] The number of US job openings increased by 110,000 in June to 5.62 million, Labour Department figures showed Wednesday. Hiring picked up and the number of Americans who quit their jobs was little changed.
The median forecast in a Bloomberg survey projected 5.68 million openings. May vacancies were revised to 5.51 million from a previously reported 5.5 million.
